ZOIE
We adopted Zoie from you in 1996 or 97. She's 11 years old now, and
still not showing her age. Zoie has been an energetic and enthusiastic member of our family for a decade, and even suffered through the
addition of two (human) children with good humor. When we walk her, people still ask "How old is your puppy?".
She's a great dog! Thank you.

MAX
Max joined the Costella family right in
time to enjoy the Christmas holidays. He has been a great addition to
our
family. He is pictured here with his big
sister Cassie. They like to wrestle and chase squirrels in the back
yard. The kids are thrilled to have Max, even though he opened two
Christmas presents that did not belong to him.
Thank you Linda for running this rescue
and the website.

SASSY
Just wanted to let you know that we are
all doing well. Sassy (aka Sugar) is all we could ever hope for.
She is such a joy!! I was just taking a look at your website and
thought I would send you a picture.
Sassy will be 2 years old already in June of '08! She loves
to play with ALL of her toys. (I just can't seem to get her
enough of those). She also loves to chase the cat around the
house.
Thank you again,

SUNDAE
My
husband and I just adopted the love of our life on 2/3/08! Her name
was changed from “Lady V” to “Sundae”. We gave her her new
name due to the fact that her coloring makes her look like a hot fudge
sundae!
She
is the light in our eyes and gives us so much joy. She is so sweet and
loves CONSTANT human interaction, which we are so happy about. She is
never nervous and is learning her new commands with the help of some
great treats! Mike and I have so much love to give and she is
definitely reaping the rewards right now. We love her so much
and are so thrilled to be her mommy and daddy. She was given up
by two previous owners and at the age of 7 months, she has been
through a lot. We make it our mission to provide her with as many hugs
and kisses that she can stand every day. We’ll do anything to make
her feel loved and forget her past, which was filled with uncertainty,
loneliness and abandonment. We thank the SOS beagle rescue
league for keeping us in mind when “Lady V” came up for adoption.
The minute we met her, we knew that she was the one. We also
want to thank SOS for being there for so many deserving beagles and
rescuing them from unknown and tragic fates. The amount of love that
we have shared with Sundae is something that we wish upon all of the
current and future SOS beagle adoptive parents! - Jenny,
Mike and Sundae Pron

HUNTER
My name is Hunter (previously known as
"Hartley") and I'm a handsome blue-ticked SOS beagle. I was
only 3 months old at the foster home with my brother Blue when I was
adopted by my new family. I'm a very smart puppy and quickly learned
how to sit, lie down, play dead, roll over and give paw (as long as
there were treats involved that is!). I am very quick and love to run
as fast as I can around the house. My family gets a kick out of this
and wants to enter me in a race! I just LOVE to play, and my favorite
place to go is the dog park, where I get to meet and play with other
puppies my age. After dinner, I usually calm down, cuddle with my
family until I fall asleep, and then someone carries me to my bed.
They always tell me it's like having a new baby in the family.
Whatever that means!
